The Lace Rib Stitch is another simple lace knitting stitch; and I decided to knit my swatch with both a fingering weight mohair and a generic dk yarn. Even though the yarns create entirely different effects, the textures really complement one another.
Lace Rib Stitch Knitting Pattern
(Requires a multiple of 4 stitches plus 1 stitch.)
Row 1 (right side): *p1, k3; rep from * to last stitch, p1.
Row 2: k1, *p1, yo, p2tog, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 4: Knit all stitches
Repeat Row 1 - Row 4 for pattern.
