A simple two-row repeat textured knit stitch, the Purl Dimple Knit Stitch requires a multiple of 2 stitches. The texture is created by yo increases and purling all stitches through the back loop on the following row.
Purl Dimple Knit Stitch Pattern
Multiple of 2 stitches
Row 1: Purl all stitches.
Row 2: P1, *yo, p2tog; repeat from * to last stitch, p1.
Row 3: Purl all stitches through the back loop.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 for pattern.
