This week's swatch is an old favourite, the ever popular Scallop Lace Knit Stitch. The Scallop Stitch is a super simple stitch motif. All in- and decreases are worked over six rows and the wrong side rows are either purled or knitted throughout.
My swatch samples below showcase the appearance of the stitch in a variety of yarns, including cotton and wool / mohair, demonstrating that this lace stitch is compatible with a variety of yarns, creating a pleasing effect, even with budget yarn options.
