Update: The knitting pattern for the Brocade Choker is now available here.
After completing a huge circular throw I was in need of a smaller knitting project and ended up designing two new lace chokers, the Brocade and the Cascade Choker, which are currently being finished.
Whilst waiting for the Brocade Choker to complete its time on the blocking board, here are some in-progress images of the designs.

Both lace chokers were inspired by my Nameless Choker pattern, which was published back in 2014 and can be found here.
Whilst both the Brocade and Cascade designs can easily be adapted for the use of sock yarn, I decided to opt for 2mm needles and mercerised cotton (Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush) this time, resulting in a sturdier end product.

Both chokers feature a simple lace sequence, which is worked over several repeats, before two i-cords are incorporated at either end as fastening. The designs can be adapted easily for different neck circumferences and are suitable for the beginner lace knitter.
