The Twisted Tie knit stitch is all about creating texture with simple kfb in- and k2tog decreases. The resulting fabric lies flat and has a more rigid texture when compared to stockinette.
The stitch requires a multiple of 2 plus 2 stitches and is worked over four rows.

Multiple of 2 plus 2 stitches
Row 1 (right side) : Knit all stitches.
Row 2 (wrong side): K1, k2tog to last stitch, k1.
Row 3: K1, kfb to last stitch, k1.
Row 4: K1, purl to last stitch, k1.
