The Weekly Swatch: Wide Basket Weave Knit Stitch Pattern

In this instalment of the weekly swatch I have another basket weave stitch to add to the stitch library, the Wide Basket Weave Stitch. 

The stitch requires a multiple of 9 plus 8 stitches and is knitted over 10 rows.

Wide Basket Weave Knit Stitch Pattern

Multiple of 9 plus 8 stitches

Row 1 (right side) : K1, *p6, k3; repeat from * to last 7 sts, p6, k1. 

Row 2 (wrong side): K1,*k6, p3; repeat from * to last 7 sts, k7. 

Row 3: Repeat Row 1.

Row 4: Repeat Row 2.

Row 5: K1, *p6, k3; repeat from * to last 7 sts, p6, k1.

Row 6: Repeat Row 2.

Row 7: Repeat Row 2.

Row 8: Repeat Row 1.

Row 9: Repeat Row 2.

Row 10: Repeat Row 1.
