Time for a traditional lace knit stitch.
The Lattice Lace knit stitch requires a multiple of 6 plus 3 stitches and is knitted over 8 rows. All of the wrong side rows are purled throughout.

Lattice Lace Knit Stitch Pattern
Multiple of 6 plus 3 stitches
Row 1 (right side): K2, *yo, p1, p3tog, p1, yo, k1; rep. from * to last stitch, k1.
Row 2 (wrong side): K1, purl all stitches to last stitch, k1.
Row 3: K3, *yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo; rep. from * to last 3 stitches, k3.
Row 4: K1, purl all stitches to last stitch, k1.
Row 5: K1, p2tog, p1, yo, k1, yo, p1, *p3tog, p1, yo, k1, yo, p1; repeat from * to last 3 stitches, p2tog, k1.
Row 6: K1, purl all stitches to last stitch, k1.
Row 7: K1, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, *sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, k3, yo; repeat from * to last 3 stitches, sl1, k1, psso, k1.
Row 8: K1, purl all stitches to last stitch, k1.
Repeat rows 1 to 8 for pattern.
